Made in Belarus: 1 TB and 512 GB SSD Drives Presented by "Horizont" in Belarus

Belarusian OJSC "Horizont", specializing in the production of electronics and household appliances, has decided to enter the storage market and has introduced its own SSDs. The lineup already includes three models — 1 TB, 512 GB, and 256 GB.

The top version offers a terabyte of memory, the middle one — 512 GB, and the junior one has 256 GB. All drives use 3D TLC NAND flash memory and the Maxio MAP1202 controller — a fairly common combination for modern budget NVMe drives.

All models are made in the popular M.2 2280 form factor and operate via the PCI Express 3.0 x4 interface. The maximum sequential read speed for the top models reaches 3300 MB/s, while the 256 GB version provides speeds up to 3000 MB/s for reading and up to 1300 MB/s for writing.

The cost of the top models is 430 and 317 Belarusian rubles (when converted to Russian currency, we are talking about approximately 11.5 thousand and 8.5 thousand rubles, respectively).
