The KGB General's "Volga" in perfect condition has been put up for sale: a full-speed "chaser"

The car has retained its complete configuration and original components

A rarest example has appeared on the secondary market in Ingushetia — a GAZ-24-34, the legendary "chaser" that served in the special garage of the USSR KGB. The car belonged to a general of the State Security Committee, the seller said. The asking price is 4.9 million rubles.

A total of 245 such cars were produced across the Soviet Union. Each one was assembled by hand for the needs of the special services and featured reinforced units and non-standard equipment. Under the hood is a 5.5-liter gasoline V8 producing 195 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission. The front brakes are disc, and the suspension is reinforced. The mileage of the 1991 car is only 50,299 kilometers.

With the exception of the refreshed paintwork (the old paint had faded), the car is completely original, without modifications. Technically and visually it is in perfect condition, with all components in place. It starts instantly, runs smoothly, and drives quietly and confidently, the seller claims.
