The new Russian CITYMAX 9 bus was sent to Chuvashia for three-month trials

Its frame is made according to the "closed rib" scheme, which increases body rigidity by 30%

The company "Sovremennye transportnye tekhnologii" handed over a CITYMAX 9 bus to the "Chuvash Transport Administration" for trial operation. For 90 days, the vehicle will operate on routes across the republic, after which specialists will decide on its full-scale integration into the region's transport infrastructure.

The CITYMAX 9 model belongs to the mid-size class, but in terms of functionality it is comparable to large-class buses, which makes it possible to reduce the cost of one passenger seat. The bus frame is designed according to the "closed rib" scheme — this increases the body's torsional rigidity by 30% and improves passenger safety.

The CITYMAX 9 bus (PAZ-422320 model) has been produced at the Pavlovsky Bus Plant, part of the "GAZ Group", since 2022. This low-floor mid-size vehicle stands out for its use of composite materials and modern design.
