The plate A163TT is being sold on the specialized portal "Avtonomera 777" for 2.1 billion rubles — an absolute price record. The registration region is Tver Region. The sale listing was published on February 20.

At the same time, other "fancy" plates cost much less. Thus, the seller is asking 249 thousand rubles for T111VV and E666AK, 1 million rubles for M414MM, 4.8 million rubles for O333MR, and 10 million rubles for A095MO.

The direct sale of state registration plates is prohibited by law. The only legal way to obtain such a plate is to re-register the car to the owner who already possesses this plate.

Earlier, drivers complained about the seizure of EKH and AMR plates in the registration departments of the State Traffic Inspectorate. Plates with the letters EKH were previously used on FSO vehicles, while AMR77 was used on cars of the central motor pool of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Autonews reported. There was also an opinion that plates with such letters and the number 97 could be installed on government vehicles.
