First import-substituted machine for giant plywood launched in Kostroma

It was designed by Russian engineers specifically for the needs of the plant

The SVEZA Group has installed the first domestic station for the production of 8-foot plywood at its plant in Kostroma — large-format sheets about 2.5 meters long.

New machine for giant plywood production at SVEZA

The new four-shaft glue spreading machine was designed by Russian engineers specifically for the needs of the enterprise. It received an improved dosing system that ensures uniform glue application, saves resin and improves the quality of finished products, the company said.

The dependence of plywood production on foreign supplies is consistently decreasing. The experience of introducing Russian equipment shows that domestic companies are creating working alternatives to imported machines. We are receiving equipment that not only replaces foreign analogues, but fully meets our technological requirements.

Previously, the enterprise had already introduced domestic glue spreading stations for "square" plywood, gas treatment plants, grapples for raw materials and its own wood splicing line.
