Protected Against SVD and Bombings: Armored Aurus Senat Limousine Presented in Monoblock Body

The extended model features the absence of a central insert and enhanced security

The Nizhny Novgorod-based company RIDA has expanded its line of Aurus executive cars with a new version of the Senat, made in the format of a monoblock limousine. The model is equipped with improved protection and differs from traditional extended versions by the absence of a central insert in the body, which gives it an elegant silhouette reminiscent of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class or the classic ZIL-41047.

RIDA specialists independently designed and manufactured the rear door panels with a straight connector, as well as the rear fenders. Triangular windows have been added to the design of the rear pillars, which will improve visibility. The developers emphasize that their project is completely independent of a similar model created by the NAMI institute at the end of 2025: the cars differ in the geometry of the doors and the shape of the wings.

The car is equipped with enhanced protection: the body is made of special 7 mm thick steel, capable of withstanding fire from a Kalashnikov assault rifle with heat-strengthened core bullets and from a Dragunov sniper rifle with steel core bullets. 50 mm thick armored glass protects against armor-piercing incendiary bullets from the AKM. Unlike many armored vehicles where the windows are fixed, here four windows are fully lowered using powerful electric drives.

To increase mobility in extreme conditions, the Aurus is equipped with the RIDA Run-flat Wheels system. Inserts made of ballistic rubber are installed inside the wheels, allowing you to continue driving for at least 50 km even with a complete loss of tire pressure.

The power plant is standard for Aurus: a 4.4-liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging in combination with a nine-speed automatic transmission of domestic production. The drive is implemented on all wheels.
