The construction of tankers "Vasily Nikitin" and "Engineer-Admiral Kotov" is in full swing at the Nevsky Shipyard

Project 23130 oil tankers will provide fuel to the Russian Navy ships on long voyages

The Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant (Nevsky SSZ) continues to actively complete the construction of two modern medium sea tankers of Project 23130, intended for the Navy of the Russian Federation. We are talking about the vessels "Vasily Nikitin" and "Engineer-Admiral Kotov".

Project 23130 was created by specialists of CJSC "SpetsSudoproekt", known for its innovative solutions in shipbuilding. The tankers have impressive characteristics adapted for long-term naval operations.

The deadweight of the vessels is 9,000 tons, which allows efficient transportation of fuel and other cargo. Overall dimensions include a maximum length of 130 meters, a width of 21.5 meters and a draft of 7 meters. Thanks to a powerful power plant, the vessels are capable of speeds up to 16 knots, even when fully loaded and at maximum draft.

Particular attention is paid to autonomy and range: the tankers are capable of traveling up to 8,000 nautical miles without refueling, and their autonomy reaches 60 days. The crew consists of 24 people.
