The "Pay in Parts" service has appeared on Sber's biometric payment terminals

Shoppers will be able to split payments right at the checkout without additional documents

Sber is rolling out the "Pay in Parts" service on payment terminals across Russia on a large scale. By the end of 2026, the bank plans to connect more than 500,000 devices, which will turn the service into a mass offline payment tool. This was reported by Sber's press service.

The service allows customers to split the cost of a purchase into several payments right at the checkout without paperwork or additional steps. The customer independently chooses the term and number of payments on the terminal screen, and biometrics, the "Vzhukh" technology, and NFC are available to confirm the purchase.

Testing of the service began in December 2025 on biometric terminals. In 2026, the bank will focus on scaling the technology.

The service is currently available in DNS stores and other partner locations. A purchase can only be paid for with a debit SberCard, and monthly payments are charged automatically. If there are insufficient funds on the card, the available amount will be charged, and the remainder will be charged after the next top-up. The service notifies customers in advance of the payment amount and date via SMS from number 900.

Sber has also introduced the display of "Spasibo" cashback directly on the terminal after payment. Previously, users had to check accrued bonus points through the "SberBank Online" app.
