Yandex Türkiye Created a New AI Service for the Turkish Market

Yandex Türkiye (Yandex Mühendislik ve Bilgi Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi, the Turkish division of Yandex) has released an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) service called Yandex AI. The developers have combined the capabilities of a chat, an AI assistant, and an AI search engine in it, a TASS journalist found out.

The key neural networks that power the services in the application are adapted and retrained specifically for Turkey.

The AI assistant understands the local background and can help in solving daily tasks.

CEO of Yandex Türkiye, Alexander Popovsky, called the creation of local AI superapps (super application) a trend of 2026. Thus, the largest technology companies are conquering fast-growing markets, he emphasized.

How the Superapp Works

Yandex AI is a single input field that processes all incoming requests, Popovsky explained. The developers expect the service to become a constant companion for the user.

The Turkish AI service can be used for:

  • searching for information on the internet
  • booking airline tickets
  • ordering a table in a restaurant
  • renting accommodation
  • making an appointment with a doctor
  • creating texts and images
  • turning static photos into animated videos

Especially for Turkey, 20 agents based on artificial intelligence were created. Among the companies they cooperate with are: Doktorsitesi service, Pegasus Airlines, ETSTur, Turna.com and obilet.com platforms, as well as bilet.com and others. Financial information is received from Turkish organizations such as ForInvest and HangiKredi and others.
