A new development from a domestic manufacturer has appeared in the commercial electric transport segment. Sova Motors announced the start of sales of its second model — the fully electric Sova 35 truck. The vehicle is aimed at urban and suburban transportation, where reliability and environmental friendliness are required.
The Sova 35 model is available in two configuration options: as a basic chassis for individual modification and as a ready-made refrigerated van. In the refrigerated version, the cargo compartment volume is 17.5 cubic meters with internal dimensions of 4400 × 2200 × 2200 mm, making it possible to accommodate up to eight Euro pallets.
A distinctive feature of the design is the integrated refrigeration unit, which is powered directly by the vehicle's traction battery packs. Thanks to this, with the refrigerator actively operating, the vehicle's range reaches approximately 200 kilometers, making it suitable for daily routes.
Assembly of the Sova 35 trucks themselves is carried out at production facilities in Yelabuga, in the Alabuga special economic zone, which ensures compliance with high quality standards and production localization.
The cost of the chassis complete with the refrigerated body is 7.8 million rubles.
