A rare 1993 VAZ-2106 in virtually perfect condition has been put up for sale in Moscow. The car is valued at 10 million rubles, comparable to the price of a new Toyota Land Cruiser.
The sedan is painted in the factory color "Safari" and has covered only 339 km in 33 years. The car has fully retained its factory specification: original tires, paintwork, and trim. For most of its life, the vehicle was stored in a garage, and a tow truck was used for rare trips and maintenance.
Technical specifications of the example offered for sale: 1.3-liter engine, 69 hp, gasoline, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, sedan body, left-hand drive, white color. The vehicle passport is original.
The car has survived as a "time capsule" and is of interest to collectors or as a gift. The first registration took place on June 3, 1994, and over the entire period the car has had two owners.
The VAZ-2106 was produced from 1976 to 2006. Main assembly was carried out at the Volga Automobile Plant in Tolyatti until 2001, after which production was moved to facilities in Syzran, Kherson, and Izhevsk. In total, more than 4.3 million cars were produced.
