Kalashnikov equips SKAT 350 M drone with artificial intelligence to evade attacks

UAV received an expanded set of maneuvers due to the presence of AI

The SKAT 350 M reconnaissance drone has been supplemented with an AI system that allows it to evade FPV drone attacks, the Kalashnikov concern reported. The new development is presented at the World Defense Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia and, according to the holding, is a unique competitive advantage.

SKAT 350 M is designed for aerial reconnaissance and support of ground operations, even in harsh weather conditions. It is made according to the "flying wing" scheme with a wingspan of 3.2 meters and is capable of staying in the air for up to four hours, operating at altitudes of over 5000 meters. The design of the device is reinforced and adapted for parachute landing, which increases its reliability.

A special feature of the drone is an expanded set of maneuvers to evade FPV drones, which was increased at the request of customers. In addition, SKAT 350 M successfully works in conjunction with the KUB-2E and KUB-10E loitering munitions, forming a single information space for performing complex combat missions.

Earlier it became known that SKAT-350 M reconnaissance drones can be bought by foreigners: this model is actively offered to Middle Eastern countries, the concern said.
