Kalashnikov Concern is significantly increasing the production of combat small arms. Production volumes will rise compared with 2025, the company\'s press service noted.
The main increase concerns products that are most in demand among the military. These include the shortened AK-12K assault rifle in 5.45 mm caliber, the Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh) in 7.62 mm caliber, and other key models.
Demand for the standard AK-12 assault rifle — the primary individual small arm of Russian servicemen — remains at a consistently high level, the concern added.
The concern entered 2026 with complete confidence in its capabilities, having received even more orders than ever before. We assure you that all the tasks set before us will be fulfilled thanks to the expansion and improvement of production capacities and our highly professional team of specialists.
In 2025, Kalashnikov mastered the production of the latest shortened AK-12K and AK-15K assault rifles in the shortest possible time. The small arms production plan was fulfilled 100%, and all products were shipped on time.
