Master students of the Institute of Advanced Mechanical Engineering Rostselmash presented their projects. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
Among the presented developments, stands for testing key elements of combines stand out.
The range of products that are planned to be tested is quite wide - these are consumable parts of the threshing device (beaters and beaters), straw walkers, agricultural tires, a drum of a chopper and straw spreader, as well as the brake system of the combine.
Interest was aroused by projects to create a grain harvesting complex and a cruise control system for a combine. The latter development is aimed at optimizing the operation of agricultural machinery.
Master students also presented a front-end loader for a wheeled tractor and a system for limiting the working area of an excavator. It prevents accidents when underground utilities are damaged.
The defense of master's projects will take place in June 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the most powerful tractor in Russia, Rostselmash 3580, will receive a new KamAZ engine.
