In Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, a private individual has put up for sale a rare example of domestic special equipment — the KZKT-7428 super heavy-duty tractor truck. This vehicle, manufactured more than two decades ago, is in excellent condition and is offered for 2 million rubles.
According to the advertisement, the vehicle is equipped with a 26-liter YaMZ diesel engine and has undergone regular maintenance throughout its service life. Mileage and usage history are not disclosed, but the owner emphasized that the equipment is fully ready for operation and does not require major repairs.
KZKT-7428 is one of the latest developments of the Kurgan Wheel Tractor Plant, created on the basis of the famous "Kolkhoznik" platform. The tractor is designed for towing super heavy trailers and semi-trailers weighing up to 100 tons or more, including in off-road conditions. Its 8×8 all-wheel drive configuration provides high cross-country ability even on difficult terrains.
The heart of the machine is a V12 YaMZ-8401.10 diesel engine with a power of 525 horsepower and a working volume of 26 liters. The engine is combined with a mechanical gearbox and a transfer case with a reduction gear. Thanks to the centralized tire pressure control system, the driver can adapt the machine to specific road conditions directly from the cabin. The maximum speed is about 60 km/h, and the range is over 1000 km.
Experts note that today such tractors are extremely rare: most of them are either written off or are in museum collections or with enthusiasts. The presence of a fully functioning KZKT-7428 in civilian sale is a remarkable event, especially considering its technical serviceability and the preservation of original components.
