Engineers from the "Automated Control Systems and Electrical Engineering" division of the Rosatom State Corporation have developed the first domestic string inverter with a modular architecture. The device, created by "Parus Electro," has no global analogues in terms of design and provides high maintainability: the power module can be replaced without dismantling the entire equipment, reducing downtime from tens of hours to several minutes.
The inverter is available in two versions - 200 and 350 kW, with an efficiency of 98.3%. It supports network and hybrid operation modes, is compatible with energy storage systems, and is adapted to the climatic conditions of all of Russia: the operating temperature range is from -50 °C to +65 °C. The device is resistant to voltage drops, which are typical for remote regions where imported analogues often shut down.
The device controls eight independent strings, which allows compensating for power losses during partial shading, icing, or cloudiness. This increases overall production, especially in winter and in conditions of unstable lighting.
Mass production of the inverter is scheduled to begin at the facilities of "Parus Electro" in 2026.
