The Miass plant \"AST Slon\" will establish production of suitcase- and elliptical-section tank trucks. This was reported by the press service of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) of the Chelyabinsk Region.
The company will receive 70 million rubles in a preferential loan from the IDF for project implementation, and another 18 million rubles from its own funds. To organize the production line, the following will be purchased:
- sheet metal laser cutting machine
- press brake
- edge bending machine
- tube bender
Suitcase- and elliptical-section tank trucks are needed for transporting combustible flammable petroleum products, as well as process water. The special shape of the structure has a low center of gravity, which makes the vehicle stable and safe.
Until recently, we produced only round-section tank trucks, that is, vacuum and sludge suction vehicles. But there is steady demand for other types as well.
The production line will be launched by the end of 2026. It is expected to reach its planned capacity in 2028.
