Heavy equipment from the security forces is helping deal with the aftermath of a snowfall that paralyzed highways in Belarus. The corresponding order was given by the head of the republic's Interior Ministry, Ivan Kubrakov.
Officers of the internal affairs bodies and servicemen of the Interior Ministry's internal troops continue to assist road and utility services in snow removal, as well as help motorists who have found themselves in a difficult situation.
All-terrain vehicles, Volat V1 light armored vehicles used by the special-purpose unit \"Grom\", as well as \"Tigr\" armored vehicles, were brought in for snow clearing. In addition, MAZ trucks are being used in rescue operations.
