Heavy equipment of security forces helps to deal with the consequences of snowfall that paralyzed the roads in Belarus. The corresponding instruction was given by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, Ivan Kubrakov.
Employees of internal affairs bodies and servicemen of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to assist road and коммунальным services in snow removal, as well as help motorists in difficult situations.
All-terrain vehicles, lightly armored Volat V1 vehicles, which are in service with the special forces detachment «Гром», as well as «Тигр» armored vehicles, were involved in snow removal. In addition, MAZ trucks are used in rescue operations.

Lightly armored vehicles for security forces and military are produced by the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT). These are models MZKT-490100 (Volat V1) and its modifications, for example, MZKT-49010.
They are designed for safe transportation of the crew, reconnaissance, and combat missions. Volat V1 has ballistic and mine protection.
