The NRTK "Kurier" delivers cargo even after detonating magnetic mines

Russian military personnel have modernized the ground-based robotic complex to operate in minefield conditions and difficult terrain

The ground-based robotic complex (NRTK) "Kurier" demonstrated high survivability in combat conditions — it continued to function even after detonating the enemy's magnetic mines. This was reported by a senior operator of a special forces formation of the Russian army, who clarified that the equipment was not originally intended for transportation, but servicemen significantly modified it for rear logistics tasks.

This model performed excellently in combat missions. We carried out deliveries over long distances of up to 30 km. There were cases of detonations on magnetic mines, but the hull held up and the [platform] continued moving.

According to the serviceman, today the "Kurier" is actively used to deliver ammunition, food, fuel and lubricants, and other vitally important cargo directly to the front line. Thanks to the installation of additional batteries, the maximum autonomous range of the robotic platform reaches 35 kilometers.

Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defence emphasized that NRTK "Kurier" crews of the Russian troop grouping provide round-the-clock logistical support to units located in immediate proximity to the line of combat contact. Operators remotely control the platforms, overcoming mine-explosive barriers and rough terrain — all without risk to the life and health of personnel.
