Sber launched "Vzhuh" for Android smartphones without a "Mir" card or NFC

The service can be used by 10 million customers

The "Vzhuh" service, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, has become available on smartphones with the Android operating system for customers who do not have a "Mir" card, and for devices without NFC. This was announced by Kirill Tsarev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, on the eve of the "Made in Sber" conference.

According to Tsarev, "Vzhuh" on Android meets the needs of smartphone owners without an NFC module in contactless payments. According to preliminary estimates, the service affects about 10 million bank customers.

Also, "Vzhuh" will be convenient for people who want to use their international payment system cards (Visa and Mastercard) for payments via smartphone. The service has already been successfully launched by T-bank and Alfa-bank, and more than 40 banks have expressed interest in connecting.

For Android devices with NFC, the SberPay NFC service is still available, which works with "Mir" cards.

The "Vzhuh" service allows you to make payments even if the Internet connection is weak or absent. The process is very simple: when the amount is displayed on the terminal screen, the client opens the "Sberbank online" application, brings the phone to the terminal and confirms the payment. Payment can be made from any application screen, even from the start.
