At the VII All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Navigation and Control," held in Suzdal, the "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) presented a modernized version of the Depesha robotic platform. Engineers have improved the complex's cross-country capability with a reinforced frame and increased ground clearance, allowing it to confidently overcome rough terrain and off-road sections.
"Depesha" has become more passable thanks to a reinforced frame and increased ground clearance. This allows it to move across rough terrain and off-road. High maneuverability of "Depesha" is provided by lightweight and durable materials, as well as an independent suspension.
In addition, the platform's weight was reduced to 150 kg due to the use of aluminum alloys in the body structure. This makes "Depesha" more mobile and convenient for transportation, especially in combat conditions.
According to representatives of the holding, the platform is undergoing full-scale testing in the Russian army. Various combat and auxiliary modules are being actively tested on it, expanding the robot's tactical capabilities. In particular, the "Sova" mobile complex is being integrated into "Depesha" — a system designed for topographic referencing of artillery guns and accelerated preparation of firing positions.
The "Navigation and Control" conference, initiated by VNII "Signal" (part of "High-Precision Systems"), gathered a record number of participants this year — more than 50 enterprises and scientific organizations.
