New Sinara-6254 Trolleybuses Arrived in Kaliningrad

The city will receive 20 modern vehicles by the end of the year

Kaliningrad received the first three trolleybuses from the new batch of Sinara-6254. The vehicles are already in the depot and are undergoing commissioning. The remaining 17 trolleybuses will be delivered to the city in the coming weeks by ferries.

The delivery is carried out under a contract with the "Interregional Leasing Company." In total, Kaliningrad will receive 20 new trolleybuses, which will be put on city routes by the end of 2025. Thus, almost half of the city's trolleybus fleet will be updated — previously, 13 vehicles of the same type had already been put on the line.

Modern low-floor Sinara-6254 trolleybuses are equipped with climate control, video surveillance systems and smooth electronic motion control. This makes trips more comfortable and safer for both passengers and drivers.

Kaliningrad-GorTrans noted that the renewal of the rolling stock will improve the reliability of urban transport and improve the quality of passenger service. "This is a serious update to our fleet, which will increase the comfort of travel for passengers," the company said.
