The Bank of Russia has decided to grant a professional securities market participant license for dealer activities to OOO "Ozon Bank" (Moscow), according to the regulator's website.
It is worth recalling that "Ozon Bank" was registered by the Central Bank on March 11, 2022, and a universal license to conduct banking operations became effective on April 12, 2023.
In mid-October of this year, the Central Bank included OOO "Ozon Capital", which unites most of the marketplace's financial services, in the unified register of investment advisors. Inclusion in the register is due to plans to develop the fintech direction of the investment business.
The investment direction may start operating in 2026.
Also, on July 30, 2025, "Ozon Capital" registered UK "Ozon Asset Management". The company is currently in the process of obtaining a management company license to carry out activities for managing investment funds, unit investment funds, and non-governmental pension funds. The fintech direction also expects to receive brokerage and depository licenses in 2026.
It should be noted that OOO "Ozon Capital" unites such fintech assets as "Ozon Bank", MCC "Ozon Credit", "Ozon Leasing", "Ozon Invest", "Ozon Finresheniya", and "Ozon Financial Technologies".
