На базе 7,62-мм пулемёта ПКТ: автоматизированный комплекс защиты от дронов прошёл испытания

Дальность работы комплекса по малым FPV-дронам достигает 370-450 метров

Russian specialists have successfully tested a turret-mounted automated anti-aircraft machine gun system based on the 7.62-mm PKT machine gun. The complex is equipped with bi-spectral optoelectronic sighting equipment operating in the television and thermal imaging ranges (CCD/CMOS and MWIR/LWIR) using a ballistic computer and artificial intelligence algorithms.

The effective operating range of the complex against small FPV drones reaches 370-450 meters, and against the An-196 Lyuty unmanned aerial vehicle - up to 1300 meters. The module is capable of receiving target designation from various radars, including small-sized systems.

Such automated modules will effectively cover the "dead zones" of the S-400 and S-300V4 anti-aircraft missile systems from "kamikaze" drones of the "Rubaka" type, as well as provide protection for oil refineries and logistics railway trains.

Earlierwww1.ru reported that gunsmithscreated new anti-aircraft installations from centuries-old Maxim machine guns to combat UAVs.
