It is now possible to choose a trusted person on "Gosuslugi". "Trusted Contact" is an additional protection for your "Gosuslugi" account, the principle of which is to confirm the password recovery from a citizen's account by receiving an SMS with a code from a trusted person.
When a request is received to confirm actions related to the security of the account, the person who will be the trusted contact must make sure that you are not under the influence of scammers. When the trusted contact is convinced that you are acting without the influence of third parties, they will have to enter the confirmation code on "Gosuslugi", and you will receive a temporary password to restore access.
The trusted contact will not have access to your personal account and will not be able to perform actions on your behalf.
A trusted contact can be, for example, a relative or close friend over 18 years of age who has Russian citizenship and a confirmed account on "Gosuslugi", information about a Russian passport and a current phone number in their personal account.
You can disable a trusted contact or specify another person at any time in your personal account.
The function is available to all "Gosuslugi" users over 14 years of age. There can be only one trusted contact, while each trusted contact can have up to 5 principals.
