Russian military personnel have begun to use homemade "drone guns" to combat drones for the first time. Standard anti-aircraft guns were used as a shooting "base".
A serviceman with the call sign "Corporal" explained that it is a cartridge loaded with buckshot.

The fighter clarified that it is a high-explosive fragmentation cartridge from an anti-aircraft gun. Corporal noted that the drone gun is effectively used not only against FPV drones, but also against heavy armored vehicles.
Confrontation with drones has become the main task for the military. For example, tests of a new domestic anti-drone man-portable air defense system (MANPADS) of short range "Hermes" will begin in Russia before the end of 2025. The target acquisition range of the system is up to 500 m, the complex uses VOG-25 as a warhead.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new UAV "Axis-25-R" was shown in Russia: two engines and a range of up to 300 km.
