Calculations of the newest 2S43 "Malva" self-propelled artillery units (SPGs) have encountered a problem during the operation of combat vehicles. Standard batteries of combat vehicles quickly fail due to strong recoil during firing, according to blogger Kirill Fedorov.
According to him, crews have to connect generators because of this, which are very noisy and drown out the noise of approaching drones. Fedorov clarified that four batteries are needed for one howitzer.
2S43 "Malva" is a combat strike complex on the chassis of the BAZ-6910-027 "Voshchina" vehicle. The system is equipped with a 152 mm 2A64 rifled howitzer. The developers abandoned the turret, making the SPG even lighter. Now it can be transferred to the battlefield by Il-7 military transport aircraft.
"Malva" can fire updated active-rocket guided artillery shells ZOF95 "Krasnopol-M2" at a distance of up to 40 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Iran has rethought the Yak-130 and equipped the aircraft with an air-to-air missile system.
