Engineers at Novosibirsk State Technical University have developed an innovative control system for tractor sprayers. It prevents agricultural machinery from overturning in the field and increases its safety.
Tractor sprayers play an important role in agriculture, as they provide crops with liquid fertilizers and pesticides. This protects plants from diseases and pests, and promotes their growth.
Engineers of the youth laboratory "Energy-efficient mechatronic systems" have improved the control of hydrostatic transmission, carrying out the project jointly with an industrial partner. Simulation modeling was used to verify the operation of the system, which made it possible to debug its algorithms.
We have developed a model of the hydrostatic transmission of a tractor sprayer using a dynamic modeling environment, on which we tested the synthesized algorithms.
In the future, NSTU engineers are ready to independently create control systems for agricultural machinery.
