The "Russian Fishery Company" (RFC) has implemented Smart Engines artificial intelligence to automate the employee hiring process in the "1C" system.
The new tool allows for the rapid transfer of data from a complete set of personnel documents - from internal passports to seafarer's identity documents - directly into the applicant's form, which significantly reduces processing time and minimizes the risk of errors.
The AI recognizes both printed and handwritten pages of documents, including internal passports, SNILS, international passports, and seafarer's identity documents. All data is processed locally on the company's server infrastructure without transmission to the cloud, ensuring the security of personal information.
Smart Engines' ultra-lightweight neural networks can process up to 100 sets of personnel documents in one minute, which speeds up the processing of new employees - from sailors and captain's assistants to doctors, cooks, and mechanics.
Thanks to the automation of data entry from documents, applicants can complete the registration process faster, discuss working conditions, and go to sea without lengthy manual form filling.
