The revenue of popular computer club networks in Russia has increased almost 40 times in the last five years, and the number of transactions has increased 37 times, according to a study by the T-Data project for the publication "Business Secrets".
According to analysts, growth was observed even in the COVID year 2020. On average, the revenue of clubs increased by 108% annually.
At the same time, multidirectional dynamics are recorded in related markets. Thus, in the last two years, sales of equipment for home gaming have decreased: video cards - by 22%, consoles and Russian peripherals - by 18%. At the same time, the board game market is showing steady growth: by the end of 2024, its volume exceeded the 2019 figures by 20%. The main buyers are millennials aged 26 to 40 years, who make up almost half (49%) of customers.
Experts note that the popularity of computer clubs is associated with access to gaming services and powerful equipment, which is becoming increasingly in demand in the context of restrictions. The market is gradually becoming centralized: in 2025, the share of franchises, according to the "Vanshot" network, reached about 30%.
