Для космонавтики и авиации: новый метод производства проволоки разработали в России

Technology has undergone successful testing

Russian scientists have developed a new ingotless processing method for producing wire from aluminum alloys. This was reported by Alexander Durnopyanov, a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Metallurgical Processes and Materials at the Siberian Federal University.

The resulting welding wire is used in aircraft construction, shipbuilding, and the space industry. Our method allows us to combine technological processes at one point, whereas with the traditional method, production can be spread across different workshops.

A similar method is used for the production of aluminum wire with the addition of zirconium, which is used in electrical wiring. The technology has already undergone successful industrial testing.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that NUST MISIS developed an environmentally friendly alloy "ALTEK" for extreme conditions.
