Rostec presented a new airspace control system at the international exhibition "Neva-2025". The development was prepared by the Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Engineering (TsKBA), which is part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding.
The system includes a radar station and an automated workstation. Its key advantage is the ability to combine information from 24 locators at once and display it on a single interface. According to the developers, even an operator without radar experience can distinguish between aerial objects and transmit data to control points after a few hours of training.
The complex can be installed both on infrastructure facilities and on military equipment. It operates autonomously, detects targets at low altitudes, including small-sized aircraft, and is resistant to interference from sources of strong electromagnetic radiation. The software uses artificial intelligence algorithms based on neural networks, which speeds up data processing and improves the accuracy of object identification.
TsKBA notes that the system is already being used in a number of Russian regions, including border areas. In the future, it is planned to integrate it into a unified radar field of the country so that users can receive up-to-date information to protect infrastructure and ensure security.
In the face of the growing number of unmanned aerial vehicles and new threats of low-altitude intrusion, such systems are becoming critical. They allow for prompt monitoring of airspace and response to potential threats, increasing the country's defense capability.
