Rosneft Creates First Domestic Library of Hydrocarbon Feedstock Catalysts

The library will function as an exchange fund for oil refining enterprises

Rosneft has announced the creation of Russia's first library of hydrocarbon feedstock catalysts, located in Novokuibyshevsk. It will create and systematize a variety of catalyst samples used in refining and petrochemistry.

The library will allow Rosneft to quickly transfer catalysts for the implementation of various innovative projects and scientific research. This will provide the company with flexibility in solving periodically arising technological problems that require a quick selection of the optimal catalytic system. Thus, oilmen will be able to make informed decisions about the purchase of catalysts or the expansion of their own production.

It should be reminded that Rosneft occupies a leading position in the production of catalysts. The company is actively developing an innovative development program aimed at replacing imported technologies in the production of high-quality petroleum products. One of the key objectives of this program is the transition of refineries to the use of catalysts of their own production.
