Rumors Confirmed?: AGR Completes Production of Hyundai Solaris

No plans to return cars to the assembly line

The AGR plant located in St. Petersburg has ceased production of the Solaris HS sedan. This is reported by insiders. The car was an exact copy of the Korean Hyundai Solaris model.

According to Avtostat, citing its sources in the AGR sales network, the return of Solaris HS to the assembly line is not planned. The decision came as a surprise to many car enthusiasts who appreciated this model for its affordability and reliability.

Between July and August 2025, just over ten Solaris HS cars were sold in St. Petersburg. At the same time, the total sales volume of the brand for the same period exceeded 300 cars.

Earlier it was reported that there were practically no new Solaris HS cars left in the showrooms of St. Petersburg. Only 15 2024 cars are available in the city's dealerships, while 2025 cars are completely absent.
