The Russian Ministry of Defense has increased its order for the supply of tank support fighting vehicles (BMPT) from Uralvagonzavod (part of Rostec). This was announced by the General Director of the concern, Alexander Potapov.
According to him, it concerns both deliveries in 2026 and in the future.
The Ministry of Defense is currently ordering and increasing the number of vehicles for the next year and in the future.
The Rostec State Corporation noted that the formidable domestic machine may soon change its name to something more familiar to the Russian ear. Among the options are "Peresvet" and "Dobrynya". You can vote for one of the options at the link.
BMPT can be successfully used in resolving conflicts of any intensity to defeat anti-tank weapons and effectively suppress enemy manpower.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Su-34, Su-35S and Su-57 fighters have aroused great interest abroad.
