The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has begun using Key-Courier quadcopters with increased payload to supply troops in remote areas. This was announced by a representative of the Center for Unmanned Competencies, known by the call sign Bars.
We are now focused on delivery vehicles. The flagship product of the center, the Key-Courier drone, is capable of lifting 6 kg and carrying it for 23–25 km. Now it has an older brother, a drone that lifts 20 kg and flies a distance of about 15–18 km. The device is also used for delivery, supplying our units. The increased payload allows us to satisfy all the requests of the soldiers.
According to the official representative of the center, both devices of the Key-Courier line are characterized by low cost. "These are cheap delivery drones that are not a pity to lose," the organization added.
