In Veliky Novgorod, at the All-Russian gathering of operators of combat unmanned systems "Dronnitsa", an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a Kalashnikov assault rifle was demonstrated.
Alexey Chadaev, the creator of the "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" drone and head of the NPC "Ushkuynik", published a photo of the new device on his Telegram channel. He noted that the developers successfully solved the problem of recoil when firing a Kalashnikov assault rifle in flight.
Here, the guys interestingly perverted: they made a flying "Kalash". They solved the problem of recoil and stabilization in the air when shooting. It is not clear how scalable this solution is, but I am now seriously thinking that the main disadvantage of any UAV is "one drone - one target". Maybe they are digging in the right direction.
Early experiments with armed drones often faced problems with accuracy and stability. Low maneuverability and vibrations from shooting negatively affected the results. However, with the development of electronics and flight control systems, these shortcomings are gradually being eliminated. New models are equipped with more powerful motors, light and durable bodies, as well as improved navigation systems.
It is important to note that the development and use of armed drones raises serious ethical and legal issues. The danger of unauthorized use, the potential for harm to civilians, and the difficulty of identifying targets require strict regulation and control.
