A new full-size SUV from the Chinese manufacturer BAIC, the BJ60 model, has become available to Russian car enthusiasts. The car is assembled at the "Avtotor" plant in Kaliningrad. The new product is offered in a single configuration at a price of 5,300,000 rubles and is positioned as a competitor to the Haval H9 and Oting Paladin.
The car offers rich equipment, including 18-inch wheels and advanced LED optics with adaptive lighting. Comfort and style are complemented by a panoramic roof, electrically adjustable front seats, and three-zone climate control. For the convenience of the driver and passengers, there are all-round cameras and an automatic parking system. Inside the cabin, there is an atmosphere of modern technology: a Harman Infinity multimedia system with a 13-inch touch screen and 12 speakers, a 10-inch digital instrument panel, and a convenient wireless charger for smartphones. Winter comfort is provided by heated second-row seats, steering wheel, windshield, mirrors, and headlight washers.
The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine, producing 163 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a mild hybrid system (MHEV). A 10-kilowatt electric motor serves as a starter and helps improve dynamic performance. Off-road capabilities are provided by an independent suspension, a Part-Time plug-in all-wheel drive with a downshift gear, and differential locks.
