«Progress MS-32» is preparing for launch: solar panels have been successfully tested

At Baikonur, preparations are underway for the space truck's September flight to the ISS

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, specialists are preparing the Progress MS-32 transport ship, which arrived in late June. In July, the device was deconserved, after which comprehensive checks of all systems began.

Particular attention is paid to solar panels, which provide power to on-board systems. Specialists from the «Energia» corporation deployed photovoltaic cells, irradiated them with powerful light sources and measured the indicators with special devices. The tests confirmed the normal operation of the batteries.

The next stage of preparation will be refueling the fuel tanks. After that, the ship will be ready for the September launch, during which it will deliver equipment and cargo to the International Space Station for the crew.

Tests of «Progress MS-32» show the stability and reliability of Russian space technology, on the uninterrupted operation of which the provision of flights and the functioning of the orbital complex depends.
