The drone's design resembles the "Geran", but is smaller in size

The Russian military has begun testing a new strike drone with LTE communication and remote control capabilities, according to reports online. It is also used as a decoy to overload air defense systems.

The UAV is equipped with a camera and two LTE modems, which allow it to transmit video in real time or recorded via mobile base stations. The drone also has the ability to receive commands to adjust its course.

In terms of design, the new drone resembles the "Geran", but is smaller in size. Components include communication modules, a power regulator, a mini-computer, and a quartz oscillator.

Detailed specifications of the drone are not yet known. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not officially announced the testing of such a novelty.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that footage of the latest "Papa Kalibr" in the Northern Fleet with "Granat" missiles has appeared.
