The "Gruzavtotrans" Association of Motor Carriers has appealed to Roskomnadzor with a request to conduct inspections of the installation of radio interference generators along roads. They interfere with the normal operation of navigation equipment.
In their statement, carriers complain about systematic fines for allegedly disabled navigation devices. They claim that the loss of satellite signals is due to the illegal installation of jammers, which are often located near gas stations, oil depots, and logistics centers. The association's letter states that mobile communication and signal for satellite navigation systems are lost on highways.
When the signal from satellites is lost, the toll collection system for travel on federal roads decides that the driver himself turned off the control devices and automatically issues a fine protocol.
The purchase of jammers is becoming available to any interested party. However, the regulatory framework governing the use of such devices is currently lacking.
Previously, "Gruzavtotrans" had already appealed to the Ministry of Transport and the government with a request to stop unjustified fines and introduce a moratorium on their accrual. A complaint was also forwarded to Rosavtodor, which notified the regulatory authorities about the problems with jammers. Roskomnadzor confirmed receipt of the association's appeal and promised to consider it in accordance with the established procedure, noting that cases of unauthorized installation of such devices have already been recorded.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Digital Development for 93 million will figure out how to protect communication and GPS systems from failures when anti-drone jammers are operating.
