KAMAZ Launches Sales of New K5 Generation Mainline Tractors in Kazakhstan

Two new KAMAZ truck models with improved characteristics and favorable leasing conditions are presented in Kazakhstan

At the Komtrans + BUSexpo Astana exhibition in Astana, the official KAMAZ dealer, AvtoTekhLine, presented two new models of mainline tractors: KAMAZ-65659 and KAMAZ-54902. Both vehicles belong to the K5 generation, which is characterized by increased technological sophistication and adaptation to modern logistics requirements.

KAMAZ-65659 is a three-axle tractor (6x2/2) with a lifting rear axle, allowing to increase the gross train weight to 44 tons without exceeding permissible loads. It is equipped with a 482 hp engine, a 12-speed automated manual transmission, and a comfortable cab with improved noise insulation. The model is suitable for long-distance transportation with increased payload capacity.

KAMAZ-54902 – a two-axle tractor (4x2) for regional transportation. It is more compact but retains the key advantages of the line: a 390 hp engine, the same gearbox, and an increased service interval (up to 30 thousand km). The engine life reaches 1.2 million km, which is important for intensive operation.

Alexandra Voronina, a representative of AvtoTekhLine, noted that the purchase of new tractors has become more affordable thanks to a special leasing program. This allows transport companies to update their fleet with minimal costs.
