AvtoVAZ has revealed one of the interesting features of the transmission of the new Lada Iskra model. The CVT installed in the car is able to adapt to the owner's driving style. This was announced by the chief engineer of the Iskra project, Vitaly Loginov.
Yes, we have an additional control unit located in the CVT. Of course, it learns about the person's driving style.
The car's gearbox is equipped with a separate control unit. It analyzes the driving style and adjusts the switching algorithms during operation.
The Lada Iskra is equipped with a Chinese-made CVT18 CVT, which simulates the operation of a six-speed automatic transmission. Before being launched into mass production, the transmission was adapted to domestic conditions and recalibrated. Now the transmission demonstrates coordinated operation with a 106-horsepower engine in various urban conditions and on the highway.
The model also received an almost completely original suspension, with the exception of the rear shock absorbers from Vesta.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ told about the features of Lada Iskra.
