M500 type engines are widely used on military and state vessels. These units are installed on many Soviet-built ships, including Projects 1241 Molniya, 1234 Ovod, and 1124 Albatross. In addition, M500 engines are used on modern Project 20800 Karakurt-class corvettes and Project 12700 Alexandrite-class minesweepers.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the development of low-speed engines for large-capacity vessels will be established at USC.
