Ivan Lopatin, a teacher at the College of Agro-Industrial Technologies of the Altai State Agrarian University, has developed an innovative device that speeds up the process of loading cartridges into a Kalashnikov assault rifle. This was reported in the press center of the government of the Altai Krai.
The new device is called a speedloader. It is designed for use in situations where rapid loading of a large number of cartridges is required.
We have provided for the use of metal parts to make the speedloader even more resistant to wear. But this is optional. The design is strong enough as it is.
The speedloader was manufactured using a 3D printer. Now the inventor is improving the charging accelerator for the AK. With the help of a special lever system, filling an automatic magazine with cartridges can become faster. This will allow one person to fill several dozen magazines without fatigue.
A trial batch of charging accelerators will be transferred to the Russian military for testing in real field conditions. Also, a prototype of the speedloader is being tested in one of the units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Altai Krai.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new way to load machine gun belts has appeared on the front.
