The installation of high-quality "Finist" cameras with video analytics based on AI has begun in the cities of Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil. Roman Kazachenko, manager of Netvision, said that the devices will be used to control "smart" traffic lights, which should help reduce traffic jams at regulated intersections and pedestrian crossings.
The cameras are manufactured by "Vzor". It is implementing this project together with Netvision as part of the development of intelligent transport systems (ITS) in the region. Netvision algorithms process data from more than a thousand cameras.
