The Leningrad Optical Mechanical Association named after V. I. Lenin (LOMO JSC, part of the Kalashnikov concern) has launched a new endoscope assembly section. Specialists have already started the production of medical devices.
The section is capable of assembling flexible medical endoscopes with fiber optics, as well as flexible medical video endoscopes (gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes).
Video gastroscopy (video EGD) is an endoscopic examination with which doctors can visually assess the condition of the patient's esophagus, stomach and duodenum.
The SV-1 video endoscope system consists of a GDB-SV (9.5)-1 gastro duodenoscope video endoscope, a KB-SV (12.9)-3 colonoscope video endoscope, a video endoscope stand, an LCD monitor, a keyboard, and a memory card.
Characteristics of GDB-SV (9.5)-1:
- Working part (tube) diameter — 9.5 mm
- Outer diameter of the distal head — 9.8 mm
- Length of the insertion portion — 1035 mm
- Number of image control buttons — 4
LOMO supplies SV-1 video endoscope systems complete with KB-SV (12.9)-3 colonoscopic video endoscopes to medical institutions in Vladimir, Vladivostok and Moscow.
