Russian tourists in Turkey continue to use Letim, but the service is experiencing logistical problems

The Letim payment system, popular among Russians for making purchases in Turkey, has faced a wave of rumors about possible malfunctions. The Telegram channel Shot reported problems with the service's operation, but the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) and the company itself have denied this information.

All financial [payment] functions of our service are available. It continues to serve its users.

However, Letim acknowledges problems with card delivery and reports that it will be up and running again soon:

Due to the load from the summer period and logistical reasons, card delivery is currently unavailable only in Turkey. <...> Our [card delivery] service will be restored as soon as possible. The problems mentioned in the Telegram articles do not correspond to reality.

Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported the inability to log into the mobile application, replenish accounts through Russian banks, as well as the complete shutdown of plastic cards. The problem also manifested itself in ATMs: attempts to withdraw cash ended in errors, leaving tourists without access to funds.
