Mortar crews destroy mock enemy in the mountains of Tajikistan using the Sani complex

Military personnel of the motorized rifle units of the Russian military base in Tajikistan destroyed a mock enemy at the Sambuli mountain training ground. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the plan of the maneuvers, a mock enemy took refuge in one of the gorges and planned to hit objects of the Russian formation. The military personnel conducted aerial reconnaissance using Orlan-10 UAVs.

The received coordinates were transmitted to the command post. Calculations of the 2S12A Sani mortar systems struck targets at a distance of up to 5 km. UAV operators adjusted fire from the air.

The Sani mortar was developed by designers at the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" (Nizhny Novgorod). The manufacturer is Uraltransmash.
