In Russia, LADA Niva remains a simple SUV for country houses and rural roads. But in Germany, it is being turned into a real winter vehicle. Unusual versions of Niva with snow removal kits and additional options, which were not previously typical for the classic "Niva", are increasingly appearing on local platforms.
One of the most expensive LADA models — 4x4 Winterdienst Edition 2025 — costs almost 35 thousand euros (about 3.23 million rubles). This car with a mileage of only 10 kilometers is equipped with reinforced springs in the chassis, a folding console for a snow blade and complete anti-corrosion protection. The car has heated seats, power windows, air conditioning and preparation for towing equipment. The model has already been certified for use for municipal purposes.
Another car is the 2019 LADA Taiga Urban Plus 4x4 with a mileage of only 3,300 kilometers. The kit includes a hydraulic snow shield, electric mirrors with heating, alloy wheels and heated seats. Despite its age, the car looks almost new and is sold for 14,999 euros (about 1.38 million rubles).
The 2020 Niva with a mileage of less than 4 thousand kilometers is estimated at 25 thousand euros (approximately 2.3 million rubles). The car has heated seats, air conditioning and a complete winter kit: from reinforced suspension to a rear sand spreader.
In Germany, interest in these modifications is caused by their simplicity, reliability and ability to work in difficult weather conditions. The low price compared to equipment from well-known brands and the availability of spare parts make the Russian classic an attractive alternative to expensive municipal pickups.
